Letter from the 2025 Miss Los Angeles Chinatown Court
3rd Princess
Being a part of the LA 2025 Miss Chinatown Court is something I would choose in every lifetime. I quickly learned that this experience was about far more than the fame, recognition, or career opportunities that were introduced to us at the beginning. What truly stayed with me were the moments along the way including the camaraderie built with the girls during practices, the shared growth within the court, and the meaningful experiences we had engaging with the community alongside our mentors.
This journey reaffirmed how genuine and grounded this pageant truly is. Rather than centering on superficial beauty, it honors beauty from within. Beauty found in service, in connection, and in the commitment to uplifting others. It celebrates the power of community and the responsibility we have to create spaces that are better not only for ourselves, but for those around us. This is especially meaningful within the Chinese American community and the many ethnic communities that surround and shape this historic neighborhood. Together, they form the vibrant, living spirit of Los Angeles Chinatown—one I was fortunate to experience and proud to contribute to.
