Deeply connected to her community, she volunteers weekly as a technology tutor, assisting older adults with everyday technology needs and helping bridge the digital divide in an increasingly fast-paced digital world. Born and raised in Los Angeles Chinatown, Katie remains closely connected to her cultural roots and values time with family through shared meals and community traditions. Her experiences reflect a balance of analytical thinking, creativity, service, and cultural pride.
