Presented by the Chinese Chamber of Commerce of Los Angeles, the Miss Los Angeles Chinatown Pageant is more than a pageant. For over six decades, it has served as a leadership platform that prepares young Chinese American women to become articulate spokespeople, cultural ambassadors, and future leaders within the community and beyond.
In addition to the honor of holding a title, members of the 2026 court were awarded scholarships to support their educational pursuits, reflecting the pageant’s long-standing commitment to academic achievement, leadership development, and personal growth.
Chester Chong, Chairman and President of the Chinese Chamber of Commerce of Los Angeles, shared, “For 63 years, the Miss Los Angeles Chinatown Pageant has stood as a symbol of continuity, resilience, and pride within our community. Each generation of young women who steps onto this stage carries forward a legacy built on service, leadership, and understanding. This pageant reflects the strength of our community and our commitment to cultivating future leaders who will contribute meaningfully to both the Chinese American community and the broader society.”
Christina Wu, Vice President of the Chinese Chamber of Commerce of Los Angeles and Pageant Chair, added, “The Miss Los Angeles Chinatown Pageant has always been about far more than the crowning moment. It is a meaningful journey of growth, self-discovery, and leadership. Through months of preparation, these young women learn to speak with confidence, carry themselves with poise, and develop a deep sense of responsibility to their community. My hope is that every contestant leaves this experience feeling empowered, supported, and proud of who they are, knowing they have a voice that matters and a place in shaping the future of our community.”
Throughout the program, contestants participate in an intensive leadership training experience that emphasizes public speaking, confidence, presentation, teamwork, and community engagement. The newly crowned court will represent the organization at civic, cultural, and charitable events throughout Southern California.
The Chinese Chamber of Commerce of Los Angeles congratulates the 2026 Miss Los Angeles Chinatown Court and looks forward to their year of service, growth, and leadership.
