Stephanie Yu

Stephanie Yu was born and raised in a beautiful province called Guang Dong, China. She moved to the U.S and started a new chapter of her life at the age of 16. The transition was a big challenge to her due to the language barrier. However, she never gave up and was awarded the title Student of the Year in Biology. While she was studying Biology at California State University, Northridge, Stephanie also gained meaningful experiences by organizing charity events as a member of the Alpha Omicron Pi sorority. In this organization, she learned to work together with other members and developed a sense of sisterhood. Stephanie is currently continuing her education by pursuing her Master's degree in Traditional Chinese Medicine and Acupuncture Through this study she has the opportunities to learn more about the Chinese culture. She hopes to help people in need by being a doctor in the near future. With her optimistic attitude, Stephanie is ready to be more involved in the community and spread the act of kindness!
