At the age of 19, Elizabeth Yang earned her Bachelor's of Science in Electrical Engineering and Computer Science from the University of California, Berkeley.She immediately began working at Raytheon as a radar designer for the B-2 Bomber and attended evening law school at the University of La Verne on a full scholarship. At age 23, she graduated with her JD/MBA and passed the California Bar Exam on her first attempt last year. Elizabeth is currently working for Howrey LLP, an international law firm with almost 600 attorneys. She specializes in intellectual property law, with an empnasis on palent litigation. born in Mountain View and raised in Southern California, Elizabeth loves to take on new challenges and enjoys everything the world has to offer. She lives by the philosophy, "Live life to the tullest everyaay - von t waste a single millisecona! Not ory aoes she study hard and work hard, Elizabeth also enjoys dancing, seeing the world, meeting new friends, and giving back to the community to make the world a better place for everyone to live. She is involved in numerous community organizations and volunteers her time for a wide variety of activities, such as helping to organize Mayor Villaraigosa's Asian Heritage Event for the City of Los Angeles last year. Elizabeth plans to get her PhD and run for judgeship someday. She would like to take this opportunity to thank her beloved mother Kelly Yang, her younger brother Andy Yang, and all of her dear friends and family who have supported her throughout her life.
