Sela Wang was born in Brattleboro, Vermont. She moved to and lived in different cities such as Kowloon in Hong Kong, Windsor in Connecticut, and now Los Angeles, California. Transferring from Pasadena City College to the University of Southern California, Sela is currently pursuing a bachelor’s degree in Business Administration. Throughout high school and the beginning of her college career, Sela swam competitively for the swim team and truly learned the importance of hard work and determination, which she has brought to all parts of her life. Since moving to Los Angeles, she has been volunteered in various organizations on campus and outside of school, including volunteering for the Tournament of Roses, Pasadena Boys and Girls Club, and the LA Food Bank. Giving back to her community through these organizations has allowed Sela to get more involved in and learn more about her community. She aspires to open her own business in the near future related to food and tech and to teach the younger generation in schools about important and useful business skills.
