Kathy Wong is currently a second year dental student at UCLA. Growing up, she has always wanted to be true to herself and pursue her own path. From volunteering in Nicaragua, to backpacking on her own in Asia to discovering her passion in dentistry through restoring people’s condence with beautiful smiles, she always strived to enrich herself with new experiences. As a Miss LA Chinatown contestant, she hopes to be an advocate for the Chinese community as an ambassador and also inspire young women to be unapologetically fearless in chasing their dreams and become future leaders of our society. Her life motto is “ if you think you can, you can.” These powerful words have helped her get through countless struggles in the past and brought her to this glamorous stage today. She hopes to become Miss LA China- town to honor her heritage and serve her community.
