Maggie Ly
李雨欣
Maggie Ly (李雨欣), 24, resides in Westminster, California. A full-ride scholarship recipient, she earned her degree in Business Marketing from the University of California, Riverside and now serves as a Marketing Manager in the pharmaceutical industry, where she unites science and creative media to make healthcare more accessible. Maggie plans to pursue her MBA and study abroad to broaden her global perspective and amplify her long-term impact.
At six years old, Maggie attended her first Golden Dragon Parade and was mesmerized by Miss LA Chinatown’s gleaming crown. Beyond the sparkles, the queen's poise, confidence, and genuine connection with the community left a lasting impact on her. In that moment, Maggie defined beauty as how you live, how you lead, and the impact you leave on others. That experience shaped her values and ultimately inspired her to step onto the pageant stage today.
Since the age of 12, Maggie has dedicated herself to community service through nonprofits, temples, and pageantry. She believes in meaningful, hands-on outreach—building relationships across generations and serving both youth and elders. Through the Miss Los Angeles Chinatown Pageant, Maggie seeks to honor LA Chinatown’s historic roots while helping evolve its traditions for future generations and people of all cultures to appreciate.
Beyond her career, Maggie finds joy in gardening and transforming homegrown ingredients into Vietnamese and Chinese dishes, traveling to stay connected with family and the world, and committing to learning something new each year. This year, she is hand-pouring soy wax candles to gift loved ones and studying the Chinese Gongfu style of brewing tea.
Maggie is proudly sponsored by Ultra Mobile and the Los Angeles Chinatown Firecracker 10K, and is deeply grateful for their support of her continued work in the community.
