Irene Phong

Irene Phong was born and raised in Los Angeles, CA to Linda Lau Phong and late father Phong, Quan Cau. She is the youngest sister of Anita and Anna Phong. In 2008, Irene was on the Dean's Honor list and graduated from CSULA with a Bachelor's Degree in Social Work. During her college years, Irene got an internship at Chinatown Service Center, Youth Center serving the newly arrived immigrants, at-risks and disadvantaged youths. After graduation, she continued to help at the Youth Center, being an English literacy tutor to the youths. She strengthened the youth's literacy skills in English grammar, vocabulary, reading. spelling, and oral communication. Currently, Irene is working at Far East National Bank in the Accounting Department. In her spare time, Irene loves reading, writing in her journal, taking road trips, enjoys good food, Pilates, and spending quality time with her family and friends. Irene is appreciative and grateful for the unconditional love and support from her family, co-workers and friends during this exciting time in her life.
