Veronica Karen Lee

Veronica Lee, born in Whittier, California, now resides in the city of Monterey Park. She recently graduated from the University of California, San Diego in three and a half years with a degree in Biology/Human Development. During her academic career, she has received the Scholar and Citizen Award, Leadership Enrichment and Advancement Program Award, and Provost's Honors. Veronica also interned at a vision therapy office, helping disadvantaged children improve their eyesight. She would like to be an optometrist one day and is currently applying to Optometry school. Even though Veronica enjoyed exploring San Diego, she continued the activities that she has always loved and been a part of since she was a little girl, such as Chinese folk dancing with the Southern California Chinese Folk Dancers, and volunteering with the PTA, the Chinese American Citizens Alliance, and other numerous organizations.
