ELIGIBILITY CRITERIA (All Applicants must meet ALL of the following requirements to be eligible for participation).

• Gender: Female (recognized as female both medically and legally in the United States)

• Age: 18 to 28 years old

• Marital Status: Single, never married

• Education: At least a high school diploma or equivalent

• Language Proficiency: Fluent in English

• Ancestry: At least 25% Chinese ancestry

• Citizenship: U.S. citizen or legal resident with valid documentation

• Residency: Resides, attends school, or is employed in Southern California

• Legal Standing: No criminal record; no past or present felony charges or convictions

• Parental Status: Must never have given birth, cannot be a parent or legal guardian of a minor or adult, and must not currently pregnant

APPLICATION PROCESS (Please note that your application will not be considered complete until all required materials have been submitted and the application fee has been paid).

II. REQUIRED MATERIALS
a. A one-minute video introducing yourself.
b. A copy of a valid government-issued photo ID, such as a driver’s license, state-issued ID card, passport, or Permanent Resident Card.
c. Two recent photos taken within the past six months: one headshot and one full-length shot. Photos should not be filtered, retouched, or professionally taken.
d. A 300-word essay answering the question: Why do you want to participate in the Miss Los Angeles Chinatown Pageant?

• A non-refundable fee of $50 is required at the time of submission.

APPLICATION DEADLINE Now open through Wednesday, October 28, 2026.

PRELIMINARY INTERVIEW The in-person interview will be held on Sunday, November 1. You will be notified of your selection status as a contestant following the interview.

PAGEANT OVERVIEW

• Contestants are required to attend and arrive on time for all rehearsals, the photo session, press conference, pageant, and other related activities.

• Rehearsals will be held on Sundays from 1:00 PM to 4:00 PM, beginning November 8, 2026, and continuing through January 24, 2027. Absences or tardiness may result in point deductions or disqualification.

• Contestants are expected to participate in all required segments of the pageant and remain in good standing throughout the pageant period.

• Selected contestants must sign and agree to all terms outlined in the Contestant Agreement. Failure to sign will be considered a voluntary withdrawal from the 2027 Miss Los Angeles Chinatown Pageant.

• Each contestant is responsible for the cost of her own attire and accessories for each segment of the pageant.

• All pageant scores and results are final.

• If selected as a member of the Miss Los Angeles Chinatown Court, contestants are expected to fulfill a one-year commitment following the pageant. Court members are required to participate in parades, press conferences, festivals, banquets, and other community service activities scheduled and approved by the Chinese Chamber of Commerce of Los Angeles. Absences from these events may affect the terms and conditions of their titles.

MANDATORY APPEARANCES

• Press conference: Scheduled for December 2026. The exact date will be announced at a later time.

• 64th Miss Los Angeles Chinatown Pageant: Sunday, January 24, 2027, at the Westin Bonaventure Hotel & Suites.

• 128th Golden Dragon Parade: Saturday, February 13, 2027, in Los Angeles Chinatown.
